Scope: Design, manufacture and supply of new conductor rail insulator for the extension of the Ankara metro system. Significant volume project incorporating many innovative features to enable convenient installation and maintenance.
Project: Compact 132kV OHL
Client: Electricity North West UK
Scope: Supply of 132kV composite post and tension insulators along with the development and approval of fittings for the OPPC conductor system.
Project: DC Composite Substation
Client: National Grid US
Scope: Design, manufacture and supply of 500kV DC Composite substation post insulators for replacement of existing porcelain. Project demanded extremely short delivery time to meet outage constraints.
Project: Toughened Glass Insulators
Client: National Grid UK
Scope: Manufacture and supply of toughened glass 400kV Tension and 300kN Anti For suspension insulators for a UK National Grid re-conductoring project.
Project: High Speed Railway
Client: COBE & Krabbenhoft - Denmark
Scope: Design of new innovative composite insulators for COBE's HS2 competition entry. This design is now shortlisted and prototype development will commence early in 2015.
Project: Ultra High Strength Composite Support Insulators
Client: Smartwires & UK Power Networks
Scope: Design, manufacture and supply of large diameter (160mm) FRP insulators to support elevated energised reactive power elements with extremely stringent requirements for deflection and combined loading.
Project: Kasso-Froslev 420KV Eagle Pylon transmission project
Client: Energinet - Denmark
Scope: Design, manufacture and supply of novel composite crossarm style V-Insulator structures for this Eagle Pylon transmission interconnector project in Denmark with our partners GD Powernet.
Project: High Voltage Air Break Switch Disconnectors
Client: TransNet New Zealand
Scope: Destined for New Zealand! Thanks to the efforts of our partners TransNet NZ we are supplying 11kV & 33kV High Voltage Air Break Switches for this new export market. Manufactured in Stoke-on-Trent, England
Project: Hinkley 400kV T-Pylon - Insulator Diamonds
Client: National Grid UK
Scope: Design, manufacture and supply of the 400kV complex insulated diamonds and conventional insulator strings for the new T-Pylon project connecting the Hinkley Point Nuclear power station to the National Grid 400kV network.
